Drawing Algorithms

An algorithm, drawn by a 20-year-old female veterinary assistant in Switzerland.

So I'm going to draw a strand here and then I would do something like this. Such a curve that is always the same. Are you finished? Yes And why did you draw such a curve? I'm just not sure. I didn't... I don't know a word for what I understand by algorithm, so I know the word, but I can't think of anything that fits, so I just... I mean it's the only thing I can think of, that an algorithm is something that's always the same, that always happens the same. You know you have a thing about algorithms, where does that come from? I think it's from school. And in what context there? Hmm, math, I think. Okay, so in your everyday life, did you ever come across the word algorithm outside of school, in any context? Probably at some point. In some books or something. Which were about what? Yeah, probably about math, but then it was probably about textbooks again... So from there... Or just in the media And what was in the media? What was it about then? Probably some research. I can imagine now. I would have thought. But there also in connection with math? Yes Good. Or statistics, all math. Okay, good, great. Thanks a lot.
