Drawing Algorithms
← Go back

An algorithm, drawn by a 19 year-old male university student, that also teaches english in Turkey.

Can you please draw how an algorithm works? Actually, I can't draw because I have no idea what algorithm means, what it means or what it is like. You can draw whatever you can think of. Algorithm… [after a while] I do not know I came to draw something like this. What is this? [Laughs] I have no idea, frankly. You have no idea... but why did you draw angular shapes? Because an algorithm sounds like a mechanism to me. Obviously I wanted to draw something like a gear, but since I couldn't properly draw something with a lot of gear... We are not interested in an artistic piece, so you can try. So what think about algorithms is that, there are things that are connected to each other. In fact, something like a chain. It evokes a form of a mechanism with a shape of chain. Can you draw this? I can continue drawing this in the same way. And most likely these should be connected to each other again. Please draw. How do I connect them like this? It looks like a comb now. Do you ever hear anything about algorithms? It doesn't sound like an unfamiliar word, but I really have no idea. I may have heard it before. I understand. So I was going to ask if you hear about it now, but ... Then, you are saying that you don't know much about the content, but you have heard of it maybe in the past. Exactly, I have heard it, because it doesn't feel like it's the first time I hear this term. It feels like I've heard it before but it didn't get my attention. Ok thank you so much Thank you.
